Blunt Dissection Podcast Branding
Design: New Logo + Branded Merchandise

The Blunt Dissection podcast has been running for a couple of years and has reached the dizzying heights of being the iTunes No.1 download for veterinary practice. It has such a loyal following that it was time to do some work on the branding with the aim to have branded t-shirts, stickers and badges that listeners could buy.

VetX International
Design: Website + 8pp Brochure + Interactive PDF Brochure + Video Logo Stinger

To generate a whole new look for VetX, it seemed to me that they had a wealth of goodwill and support from their current and past students and mentors. It was important to me that they used real imagery instead of generic studio shots and without much fuss, when I asked them to post out for real students and mentors images and the right to use them for marketing the VetX brand, said images came flooding in.

Burgess Furniture
Product Launch Art Direction & Design + Animation + Logo Design

The challenge was to make a distinctive look for new ranges being launched for Burgess Furniture, the No.1 supplier in the UK of chairs for the hotel and conference industry.

These products also launched internationally in Germany, France and Russia.

I created the whole rebrand for Burgess to modernise them for the 21st century. They being a company that started in the 60’s and the look was way out of date. So with the above clean look of the marketing and graphics I created the logo and over time adjusted it to incorporate their various companies coming under the Burgess umbrella.

I worked with The WAWI Group in Germany on a range of product packaging for all different seasonal chocolate gifts and products. Illustration, working with food packaging guidelines for different countries including Europe, Australia and the USA, plus design and artwork for large print runs.

Below are clear bag artworks which had foil covered chocolate figures and balls inside. They went into major supermarkets in the UK and the rest of Europe including Tesco and Aldi and I developed the artworks for the supermarkets to self-brand.

This is a start-up website company selling sweets and ‘sweety’ gifts on-line. They wanted to create a distinctive brand logo. The top logo is used in advertising and the bottom logo to brand the website in the top area of a CMS system website.

I produced a whole host of work for a print company whose clients included Vans and Primark. I came up with seasonal concepts for them to take into the client and then produced the print-ready artwork for POS and window graphics.

Below are some POS that I did for Vans.

The challenge was to create a distinctive brand identity, a top spec brochure, website and advertising incorporating a photoshoot in a Norman Foster building for the high end office table market. I art directed the photoshoot with the photographer Philip Vile, created the brand logo, designed and artworked the brochure and magazine adverts, plus visualised the website.

My process for advertising campaigns is to design a few concepts and present to the client. We then discuss and I produce the final artwork based on the discussions. These are some magazine adverts that I designed and artworked for Burgess Furniture that ran in FX Magazine and Sleeper, but the same process can be applied to all marketing campaigns whether it be for web, digital or print.
